It has been long time that Hero Honda has come up with something which could really change the Indian bike market scenario. Yes of course they came up with the Karizma ZMR last year in the festive season but there has been nothing after that.
We have not been able to spot the Bike in showrooms; lets not even talk about road. The much-hyped bike from the number one bike manufacturer of India has failed to create any wave & is shadowed by the Ninja’s, p220’s, Apache RTR’s…
It’s time for the leader to hit back….
It is learnt that the second batch of Kawasaki Ninja 250 has arrived in India. Finally we will get to see come action on our roads. People have been waiting for this bike to be launched & now we have waiting to see it on road. Surprisingly there has been a lot of booking going on for it, which Bajaj I think didn’t anticipated as they intended to sell 1000 units/per. That’s too low as Pune city itself saw a booking of 100 bikes post its launch.
Bajaj is planning to introduce the KTM’s Super Duke 690, not sure when but certainly it will set the roads on fire. There are not clear indications about when the Bike will be launched but the Bajaj stand at the expo had both Duke & Super Duke posing.
- Watch out this space….
From the Auto expo 2010, it has been learnt that Bajaj will come up with a NAKED version of a P220.
There was a question many had asked when they first saw the Pulsar 220 2009 model, what does the “F” stands for on the faring of the new Big Pulsar?
Here is the answer to it…its the faring version of Pulsar & now the bike as the name indicates will be a Pulsar 220 without the faring and will eventually weight less than this brother. So with less weight to drag the performance figures will improve & it might take over from the P220.
We all are excited about the looks of this Naked p220!!
This bike will be launched soon and will cost around 70k. Yes, thats 10k cheaper than the F version currently sold.
Keep watching this space for a rendering of the Naked Pulsar.
